Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania, is one of the largest industrial and cultural centers in the Baltic countries with population about 550 thousand people. City was founded in 1323 by Grand Duke Gediminas. Vilnius Old Town, covering 360 hectares, has been designated by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site in 1994. The splendid architectural blend of Gothic, Renaissance, Baroque and Classical styles make this wonderful city to explore.
